Instrumental Tour Class

 

This class runs term three and is extremely popular with our students. Grade 7 - 8 guitar and concert band students are eligible for this class. Mr. Arvay and Mr. Ponech team teach the ensembles. The students are split into their sections (guitar or band) and work on pop music. Later in the term the groups combine and put the music together. The mass group consists  usually of 90 musicians.

 

The class goes on a three day tour playing music with the final destination of West Edmonton Mall. By the end of the tour the students perform in front of two-thousand people.
